Dagan Wells

Dr. Jain is now collaborating with Dr. Dagan Wells, Laboratory Director at Oxford University, to genetically test eggs prior to freezing. Using this technology, eggs with abnormal chromosome count can be detected giving patients a better idea of how many potential normal eggs they have in frozen storage. Dr. Wells is regarded as the foremost expert in the area of molecular genetics of the human egg, having published numerous articles on the topic. Dr. Wells is currently testing new methods to test eggs and embryos for genetic abnormalities using gene microarrays.
